Campaigns Coordinator
I participated in the executive board of GlobeMed during the Spring 2019 semester where I learned about health equity and global awareness. I met amazing individuals and enhanced my collaborative skills.
Global Learning Student Board
I was a member of the Global Learning Student Board where I helped the program manager with the distribution and organization of Global Learning Events during the Spring 2021 semester.
Tuesday Times Roundtables (TTRs)
I went to several TTRs that targeted all types of social issues such as the trans community, foreign students, veteran affairs, politics, education, and justice. I was able to gain so much knowledge!
Global Learning Insights Panel
I participated in a panel sponsored by the FIU Honors College and the FIU Global Learning Department to talk about my extracurricular experiences. This allowed me to encourage and mentor undergraduate students.
Environmental Sustainability Sessions
The Environmental Sustainability sessions helped me develop my interest in climate change action. I was exposed to extreme heat, the value of water, and the science behind climate change.

Telemundo Election Night Speaker
At this event, I spoke about politics and the importance of voting as part of an initiative meant to promote Hispanic voices in politics. I was able to channel my bilingualism and exercise my civic duties.
The Millennium Fellowship was a transformative experience that allowed me to grow as both an individual and student. I am so grateful I was able to spearhead my own project and address gender equality. I met incredible women and men from FIU that were also interested in enacting social change. I am beyond humbled and honored to have been part of the 2020 class.
